Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy explains how The Harbor Group USA, Inc. ("Harbor Group," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information through replacestatefarminsurance.com (the "Site"), including information you submit when requesting a coverage review.

This policy applies to the Site and inquiries initiated through it. Other notices may apply if you later apply for or enroll in an insurance or benefit product.

Information we collect

Information you choose to provide

When you request information or a coverage review, you may provide contact details, your state, who needs coverage, timing, provider priorities, and other information you choose to include in a message.

The Site's coverage form prepares an email in your own email application. The message is not sent to Harbor Group until you review it and select Send. Please do not include medical records or sensitive health details in a Site email.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our analytics providers may collect device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring information, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times, and interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and form or link activity. Personalized campaign pages may also associate a campaign identifier and campaign attributes, such as campaign variation and state, with analytics events.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

• respond to inquiries and provide a requested coverage review;
• communicate about plan options and related services;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• understand campaign and Site performance; and
• comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and property.

Tracking technologies

The campaign landing page and the /mail page use or may use these analytics and advertising services:

• PostHog (product analytics). PostHog uses cookies and local storage to help us measure page views, clicks, scrolling, campaign engagement, and other Site interactions. On personalized campaign pages, we may send PostHog a campaign lead identifier and related campaign attributes. Session recording is disabled in our current PostHog configuration.
• Contentsquare (digital-experience analytics). The Contentsquare tag may use first-party cookies and collect device, page-view, and interaction information, such as clicks and scrolling, to help us understand how visitors use the Site.
• Meta Pixel (advertising). When enabled, the Meta Pixel records page views and a lead event when a visitor submits the Site's coverage form or selects a call, text, or email contact link. We use this information to measure advertising and create audiences for advertising on Meta platforms. We do not send Meta URL query parameters, form field values, or Advanced Matching data.

You can restrict cookies or clear cookies and local storage using your browser settings. Doing so may affect analytics but should not prevent you from reading the Site or contacting us.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information:

• to service providers that support our Site, communications, security, analytics, and advertising, including PostHog, Contentsquare, and Meta;
• to other parties at your direction or as reasonably necessary to respond to and fulfill your request;
• when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and property; and
• in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

Targeted and cross-context behavioral advertising opt-out

We may use information collected by the Meta Pixel for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising on Meta platforms. We do not otherwise sell personal information. You may make an opt-out request by emailing plans@replacestatefarminsurance.com with the subject "Opt out of targeted advertising." Where applicable law requires it, we also treat a legally recognized universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale or targeted advertising for that browser or device.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of it; obtain information about certain third-party disclosures; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise a privacy right, email plans@replacestatefarminsurance.com with the subject "Privacy request" and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, and we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If we deny your request and your state provides an appeal right, reply to our decision or email the same address with the subject "Privacy appeal." We will explain the result of the appeal and any further complaint options required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to requests, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for adults seeking information about coverage and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.
